The Art Academy for Children project supports the candidacy of the city of Burgas for European Capital of Culture 2032.

The National Academy of Art – Burgas Branch and the Municipality of Burgas organise a Children’s Art Academy for children and school students aged 6 to 15. The main goal of the children's academy is to promote art as an active part of the educational process by provoking a lasting and profound interest in visual arts among adolescents.

Classes in the creative groups (full-day and half-day) are organised and held in the premises of the National Academy of Art – Burgas Branch in Magazia 1, Floor 2, as well as outdoors in the urban environment.

For the participation of children and school students in the Art Academy for Children – Burgas 2026, their parents or guardians need to fill out a declaration.

Activities during the Art Academy for Children are carried out in various creative studios, including:
– Painting Studio: “The Extravaganza of Colours”
– Printmaking Studio: “Balance Between Black and White”
