Students of the National Academy of Art won the top places in ARBUZ 2020

The final stage of the XV International Competition for Young Designers ARBUZ 2020 was held at the end of October. The competition is annually organised by both Volga Region State University of Service, Tolyatti, Russia and the National Academy of Art, Sofia, Bulgaria. This year, due to the pandemic the winners’ announcement ceremony took place remotely for the first time. The event was presented through video broadcasts.
A panel of teachers had selected this year's prize winners:
The Grand Prize winner was Alexandra Isupova, the participant from Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University.
In Section "Graphic Design", the first, second and third prizes were shared almost entirely among students from the National Academy of Art Sofia, as follows:
First Prize went to Kristian Marchev and Nadia Shopova (Poster and Visual Communication, National Academy of Art, Sofia)
Dimitar Shterev and Kira Mihailova (Poster and Visual Communication, National Academy of Art, Sofia) were awarded Second Prize;
Zdravko Sirakov, Gabriel Petrov (Poster and Visual Communication, National Academy of Art, Sofia) and Lyubov Doroveeva (Novosibirsk College of Printing and Information Technology, Novosibirsk, Russia) won Third Prize.
In section "Graphic Art of Costume", Ivanina Ivanova, Master student in Fashion, National Academy of Art Sofia, was ranked third.
