AY 2023/2024 was officially opened at the National Academy of Art

26 September 2023 is the beginning of the 127th academic year at the National Academy of Art!

 

The members of the Student Council at the Academy placed flowers at the monument of St Pimen Zografski and the memorial plaques of Konstantin Velichkov and Nikola Petrov. Father Kostadin, priest at the Monument–Cathedral "St Alexander Nevsky", blessed with holy water and wished health and longevity to the students so that they could, through their creativity, leave a mark in the Bulgarian cultural life.

 

The Rector of the Academy Prof. Georgi Iankov wished for health, imagination and success during the new academic year. Preslava Petranova, President of the Student Council, addressed the freshmen wishing them inspiration and joyful moments during their studies at the Academy. A congratulatory address was received by Mr Daniel Parushev, Chairman of the National Representation of Student Councils (NRSC).

 

Prof. Svetozar Benchev, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and Assoc. Prof. Miroslav Bogdanov, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design, handed the student's record books to the first-year students pursuing the Bachelor's degree programmes at the National Academy of Art.
