Dear graduates,
During your years of study at the Academy, you have been growing, creating, making valuable friendships, achieving and surpassing your school-student dreams. Today, some of you cross the threshold of the Academy for the last time as students, others will return to the studios in the beginning of the next academic year to pursue a Master's degree. Whatever you choose, the Academy will always be here and its doors will be wide open to you.

On 17 June 2026 (Wednesday), the National Academy of Art will mark the graduation of the BA and MA alumni of its Burgas Branch with 2 exhibitions, presenting their achievements – at 5:00 pm in Atelier Gallery and at 6:00 pm in Sea Casino Cultural Center. Along with the exhibition openings, the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 BA and MA alumni will start at 6:00 pm at the Burgas Branch of the National Academy of Art. During the ceremony, the BA graduating students in Painting; Printmaking; Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics; Poster and Visual Communication, and Fashion Design, along with the MA graduates in Art Therapy, Photography, and the Cultural Heritage of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, will receive certificates for completing their studies from the Academy's management.
On Thursday, 25 June 2026, Academia Gallery of the National Academy of Art in Sofia will host the graduation ceremony for the graduates from all the Academy departments. The graduating students will be awarded certificates for completing their studies. At 6:00 pm, an exhibition of graduates from the departments of Printmaking and of Metal and the respective Master's degree programmes will be opened at Academia Gallery.
The exhibitions are part of the large-scale project "Exhibitions of the Alumni of the National Academy of Art – Class of 2026", which for the fourth consecutive year presents the results of art education at the oldest higher education institution for training of professional artists, and also shows something more important–the emergence of a new generation of artists, who already claim their place in contemporary visual art. The events are part of the programme to mark the 130th anniversary of the National Academy of Art.
The project is implemented with the financial support of Sofia City Municipality – Calendar of Cultural Events, with the assistance of Burgas Municipality and within the framework of 2026 Competition for Funding Projects on the Scientific Research and Artistic Activities at the National Academy of Art.
