Results from the competition held jointly by Rotary Club Sofia Balkan and the National Academy of Art, Faculty of Fine Arts, on the topic "We Serve to Change Lives"

For a fourth consecutive year, Rotary Club Sofia Balkan and the National Academy of Art jointly conducted a competition for students from the Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA). This year, the students worked on the topic "We Serve to Change Lives".
The committee, consisting of Prof. Dr. Zdravka Vasileva, Chairperson of the competition jury and Head of the Department of Painting, and members Sen. Lect. Strahil Nenov, Department of Mural Painting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evgeni Grigorov, Krassimir Veselinov, Daniel Bezhanski from Rotary Club Sofia Balkan, reviewed and discussed the works submitted for participation.
After casting their votes, the jury members selected the winner of the distinction award of Rotary Club Sofia Balkan for 2022 – IVAN MAHIUB BURBARA, 1st year, Master's degree student in Painting, who received an honorary plaque and BGN 1,000.
The second place was taken by NADEZDA DIMITROVA BOYANOVA, 1st year, Poster and Visual Communication student.
SIMONA PAVLOVA, 1st year, Master's degree student in Painting, ranked third.
The official awarding ceremony was held on 15 June 2022 at the National Academy of Art.
