Students and teachers from the Deparment of Printmaking participating in project "Interchangeable Image" of Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera – Milano

The teachers Assoc. Prof. Vassil Kolev, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Dimo Kolibarov, and students from the Department of Printmaking will take part in the project "Interchangeable Image" of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italy (Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera – Milano), which is to be presented at a video conference on 5 April 2023 (Wed) at 10:30am.

 

The project aims to deepen the knowledge and to enrich the language of contemporary fine printmaking in the context of a renewed and broad reflection on the work and role of the artist in today's society. The project includes meetings with artists/teachers from several European academies, who have gained different experience over time. The lectures/conferences will provide students with an opportunity to learn about different visions of contemporary printmaking as a carrier of content, meaning, and messages. The final stage will incorporate a series of exhibitions in Italy and other European countries, which will present the works created during the project implementation, as well as the publication of a catalogue.
