THE EXISTENT ONES | Exhibition of students from the Department of Metal

On 15 October 2024, the exhibition The Existent Ones presenting medal sculptures, medal objects and jewellery created by the students from the Department of Metal during their studies at the National Academy of Art, was opened in the historical building of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Trakiya University in Edirne, Turkey.
The exhibition opening was attended by Prof. Mustafa Hatipler, PhD, Rector of Trakiya University; Prof. Baibora Temel, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts; representatives of the academic community and students of the Turkish university. The National Academy of Art was presented by Prof. Arsen Minkov, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design; Assoc. Prof. Emil Bachiiski, Head of the Department of Metal; Prof. Velislav Minekov; Ms Svilena Mateeva-Chelebiyska, Director of Education, Projects, International Cooperation; Assoc. Prof. Vasil Kolev, PhD, Head of Gallery and Exhibition Activities at the National Academy of Art and Head of the Department of Printmaking; teachers and students from the Department of Metal, National Academy of Art.
A special guest at the exhibition was Ms Radoslava Kafedzhiyska, the Consul General of Bulgaria in Edirne.
The Existent Ones exhibition presents the best educational and creative results of the students from the Department of Metal.
In June 2023, the exhibition was presented in the Sredets Gallery of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture.
