On 27 February 2023, in Sofia City Art Gallery, the ceremony for the awarding of the team who realised the exhibition WOMEN ARTISTS. NEW HORIZONS BETWEEN THE TWO WORLD WARS took palce. The exhibition was selected as the cultural event of 2022. The award was established by Ploshtad Slaveykov Website for Culture and was determined by the votes of the media readers.
Ms Dilyana Dimitrova, the Editor-in-Chief of Ploshtad Slaveykov website presented a diploma to the representatives of the three institutions that have realised the exhibition: Ms Adelina Fileva, Manager of Sofia City Art Gallery, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihail Gruev, Chairman of Archives State Agency, and Assoc. Prof. Robert Tsanev, Vice Rector of the National Academy of Art.
The creative team and one of the exhibition curators, Dr. Milena Balcheva-Bozhkova, attended the event as well.
The exhibition was realised as a joint project of the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Sofia City Art Gallery, Archives State Agency, and St Pimen Zografski – National Academy of Art Foundation.
