Fashion graduates have in-depth knowledge of the mainstream academic disciplines such as drawing, colour study, history of art, history of clothing, etc. Their interdisciplinary training meets all requirements of fine arts, alongside the specific requirements of fashion as a socio-cultural phenomenon.
MA students on MA courses qualify for working for the fashion industry and in the design and implementation of individual projects in fashion. They specialize in the design of collections and participate directly in the production. This requires knowledge of technologies and ability of taking independent decisions on construction, getting acquainted with CAD systems as well as with the new processes and technologies of industrial production. Organization, management and communications introduce the MA students to new professional terminology and scope of action inclusive of research and analyses of fashion and culture of fashion.
Fashion graduates can work in designer departments and in production; they are entitled to heading, and managing, consultancy and advertising structures. They can also work as art directors, experts on visual arts etc.
