After “border – no / border” in UBA and “Opus” in Resonance Gallery, Plovdiv, Stanislav Pamukchiev presents, in the year of his 60th anniversary, the “Ash Pictures in Academia Gallery. The exhibition is comprised of new works not shown and some important works by the artist of the cycles “Ashes (1993–1996) and “Precipitated Time” (1998).
With “Ash pictures” the author asserts the quality of enlarged view of the painting, with an autonomous, plastic conceptual code. He affirms seeking the timing of his content area - Mythopoeic with study of cross-border mythological time, collective memory and archetypal contents, the eternal search for time and meaning.
