Alexandar Kaprichev occupies highly specific place in our artistic culture. He could be situated a little aside from the main trends over the last four decades of the 20th century. Along with that in his work we find all those issues and trends that constitute some of the most important – and advanced – features of the face of the plastic arts in Bulgaria at the end of the past and the beginning of the present century.
The exhibition in the Academia Gallery of the National Academy of Art presents works created in England in the period from 1999 to 2006.
We can say that this "late" period of Alexandar Kaprichev is a period of real creative maturity and full deployment of his significant potential as an artist.
