ART FROM THE FUTURE – the second joint exhibition of students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland and the National Academy of Art in Bulgaria will be opened on Tuesday, 4 June, at 6:00 pm in Academia Gallery. In 2023, the National Academy of Art and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw had an encounter in a common exhibition space. The joint exhibition in the gallery at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw presented the graduation projects of 30 Bulgarian students pursuing undergraduate programmes in Painting; Printmaking; Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics; Poster and Visual Communication, and the Master's degree programme in Calligraphy, along with 12 sculptural works by Polish students.
The ART FROM THE FUTURE exhibition presents works by students studying Graphic Arts, Painting, Animation and Poster at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and works by students from the National Academy of Art – the departments of Sculpture, Woodcarving, Metal, Ceramics and Porcelain and Glass Design.
The exhibition is one of the numerous initiatives and events, which the two academies implement jointly under a bilateral cooperation agreement.
