Exhibition of paintings by Desislava Mincheva

On May 30th (Monday) at 18:30 in gallery "Academy" an exhibition of paintings by Desislava Mincheva will be held. The exhibition includes landscape and portrait - mostly new works made during the last few months.

 

The topic of man and nature excites and provokes the author who is using her imaging technique and shows us their strength and beauty, drawing us into a magical world of emotions and effects.

At the opening of the exhibition a catalog which depicts the work of Desislava Mincheva from 2006 till 2016 will be presented.

 

Desislava Mincheva

Born on 04.29.1956 in Sofia city

She graduates from the National Academy of Art in "Painting" with academician Svetlin Rusev.

Professor of painting at the National Art Academy in Sofia

Board member of UBA (2008 - 2016), member of the Executive Bureau of UBA, Head of "International relations" and PR of UBA (2011-2016)

 

Self-exhibitions - over 45 in Bulgaria and abroad: Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Smolyan, Burgas, Pazardzhik, Paris (France), Frankfurt and Hamburg (Germany); Vienna (Austria), Skopje and Stip (Macedonia); Kokkola and Kannus (Finland); Xian and Hangzhou (China).
