EBSCO eBooks Academic Subscription Collection (EBSCO e-books) is the largest multidisciplinary academic collection, which provides access to nearly 260,000 full-text e-books from leading world publishers.The collection is added to the account of the National Academy of Art on the EBSCO platform and when searching, the system displays results from all available resources simultaneously.
Access to the EBSCO eBooks Academic Subscription Collection is available on the territory of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design, and the Burgas Branch.
Important: For remote access, you have to initially register via your academic email in the library in the Rectorate building at 1 Shipka Street. The personal profile allows you to specify and save your search results, receive information about new titles according to the criteria and topics you have set, and make notes on the texts. If you have already registered with EBSCO, you do not need to register again.

Open access to EBSCO Academic Search Ultimate for faculty, doctoral students, students, and administrative staff at the National Academy of Art
Academic Search Ultimate is a multidisciplinary academic database featuring an extensive collection of 10,033 active full-text journals in several languages.
Academic Search Ultimate includes content available prior to the printing of the relevant scientific publication (Ahead of Print).
The publications are in pdf and/or HTML format, with an option to also listen to content. There is an abundance of visual materials (videos and photographs) as well.
Access to Academic Search Ultimate is possible in the premises of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design.
Important: For remote access, you need initial registration by using your academic e-mail address. Please note that you will be registered by the librarians in the Library premises of the National Academy of Art at 1 Shipka Street. Your personal profile allows you to specify and save your searches, to receive information about new titles based on your specific criteria and topics, and to make notes on texts of interest to you.

Temporary access to the BiblioRossica platform during March and April 2025
BiblioRossica is a digital library containing e-books, which is a project of the American publishing house Academic Studies Press and offers over 30,000 titles of scientific and educational literature in the field of humanities, technical and natural sciences. The system includes publications from 150 publishers. The books are in English and Russian.The platform offers: a catalogue with the option to conduct standard, advanced and full-text search; PDF-format content, which allows customised formatting (changing the font size, convenient layout, etc.), and the option to download and share up to 15% of each book.
Users within the IP scope of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design at the National Academy of Art in Sofia and the Burgas Branch will have the opportunity to view all texts as well as print and/or email up to 15% of each book content.

Temporary access to Coherent Digital collections from 1 March to 31 May 2026 for faculty members, doctoral students, students and staff at the National Academy of Art
Coherent Digital is an innovative platform whose mission is to capture and digitise the so-called grey literature–valuable scientific content, which often remains outside traditional platforms spaces. Coherent Digital preserves at-risk and sensitive primary information resources and sources, which are often web-based – reports, printed archives, government documentation, blogs and multimedia – before they vanish. Through the various Coherent Digital collections, students and scholars in Bulgaria can have access to millions of documents that are missing from traditional sources.
Individuals with institutional affiliation can create a user account under any Commons category on the Coherent Digital platform. The institutional email address is used to register and have remote access.
