DA FEST 10 | Workshop Sensing the Internet
2025.10.01

22–24 October 2025, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
National Academy of Art, 1 Shipka Street, Sofia
Leader: Dmitry Morozov
The main idea of the workshop is to explore several easy methods for extracting useful information related to the project from various web pages: for example, reading data from scientific laboratory websites or tracking stock markets. Using tools such as Python and Max/MSP, we will consider various approaches to work, and with the help of interesting online resources containing relevant real-time data, we will create prototypes of programmes that will ultimately allow the implementation of various projects using this information. The workshop will also provide a brief overview of intriguing artistic projects from recent years that use these or similar approaches.
