DesignШоп – design workshop of the Department of Industrial Design

The Department of Industrial Design organised for a consecutive year a design workshop on 3D printing and prototyping – DesignШоп, which tоок place from 18th to 28th October 2022 in the ateliers of the department. Participants in DesignShop were 37 students from all programmes at the department – Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
The design workshop included a series of lectures, workshops and exercises on 3D printing and prototyping, types of materials, parametric design and printing technologies and processing.
The leading lecturers and organisers are the professors from the Department of Industrial Design – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zahari Ganchev, Assoc. Prof. Stanko Voikov, Ch. Asst. Prof. Rangel Chipev, PhD – and the PhD student Denitsa Simeonova.
The project was financed under the Programme for the Scientific and Artistic-Creative Activities of the National Academy of Art for Year 2022.
