Desislava Mincheva opened an exhibition at the gallery "Academy"
On the occasion of her 60th anniversary artist and professor at the Art Academy Desislava Mincheva opened a painting exhibition at the gallery "Academy". The opening was attended by many friends, colleagues, students and officials.
Desislava Mincheva received a letter of congratulations from the mayor of Sofia, Ms. Yordanka Fandakova and the rector of the academy gave her the honorary sign of the Academy, which is given for exceptional merit.
The exhibition was opened by Petya Tetevenska who said:
"Desislava Mincheva creates a world so beautiful that makes me trust her. Yes, she idealizes somehow the being and people or paints what she wants to see, rather than what the reality is. If somebody cares about themselves they try to build the impossible in order to preserve at least a little bit of hope in the real world we live in."..." her artistry magnetically collects in itself those messages about good and life which the author herself exudes in her everyday life towards people around her."
The exhibition runs until June 17th 2016
