European Cybersecurity Challenge 2023

Тhe European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) with the support of the Ministry of e-Government organises the European Cybersecurity Challenge contest for the eighth time, which this year will be held on 24–27 October in the city of Hamar, Norway.
The national cybersecurity team of Bulgaria will be represented by a total of 10 contestants, divided into two age groups: from 14 to 21 years and from 21 to 25 years. In addition to the representative team, there will also be a reserve team who will participate in the practice and training on an equal footing with the main team.
The two teams will be selected through several qualification rounds, with the participants having to solve a number of cases, tasks and challenges in different areas of cyber security. The selection will be held mainly online, and those who wish to join can attend the preparation workshops. A volunteer team of cyber security experts will take charge of the selection process and training of the young Bulgarian cyber talents. The expert team consists of Asparuh Gavrailov, Presian Yankulov, Plamen Kalchev, Pavel Georgiev, and Evgeni Sabev. The entire process is supported by the Ministry of e-Government.
