Graduation and exhibition of the first BA students at the Burgas Branch of the National Academy of Art

In the 125th anniversary year for the National Academy of Art, the first class of Bachelor's degree students at Burgas Branch will graduate. 16 students who have pursued the academic programmes in Painting; Printmaking; Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics, and Poster and Visual Communication will defense their diploma projects.
A graduation ceremony for the bachelors will be held on 13 June 2022 (Monday) at 5:00pm, Magazia 1, Burgas Harbour Complex. They will receive their diplomas for completed training from the Rector of the National Academy of Art. On the same day, Atelier Gallery at the Branch will host the exhibition of the graduates presenting their works in the field of painting and printmaking, illustrations, authorship publications, and posters.
The Branch of the National Academy of Art in Burgas is a fact by virtue of Decree № 16 of 5th February 2018 of the Council of Ministers. At the Branch, students are trained in Painting; Printmaking; Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics; Poster and Visual Communication; Fashion, and the Master's degree programmes in Art Therapy and Cultural Heritage of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.
With its ateliers, lecture halls for students, and administrative premises, the Branch of the National Academy of Art occupies the area on the second floor of the new modern building in Magazia 1, located in the free-access area of the Port of Burgas and in the Congress Center of the harbour.
For the establishment of the Burgas Branch, the National Academy of Art received assistance and overall support from the Municipality of Burgas.
