NECKLACE OF WISDOM | LECTURE AND WORKSHOP ON ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY

The team of the Master's degree programme in Calligraphy at the Department of Poster and Visual Communication, National Academy of Art, extends an invitation to attend a lecture and to participate in a workshop on Arabic calligraphy.
Both the lecture and the workshop are scheduled to take place on 22 May 2024, at the National Academy of Art, 1 Shipka Street, New Academic Building, Atelier 404.
Lecture, 10:00 am – 11:30 am, for students and teachers from the National Academy of Art, interested in one of the great but impenetrable calligraphic traditions of the East, felt both close and distant. It is sn opportunity to learn more about the centuries-old connection between writing, aesthetics and spirituality in the Middle East.
Workshop, 11:45 am – 1:15 pm, open to everyone willing to participate
