Opening of the 5th Scientific Conference – Directions and Trends in the Development of Education in Poster and Visual Communication – organised by the Department of Poster and Visual Communication

The conference on Directions and Trends in the Development of Education in Poster and Visual Communication began with the opening speech by Prof. Dr. Kristina Borisova on 22 May 2023 in Academ Gallery. Then Prof. Georgi Iankov, Rector of the National Academy of Art presented the first scientific report.

 

The forum participants are leading specialists and teachers in the field of graphic design, poster, typeface and visual communication. Their reports address various topics and developments on issues in the areas of their interest today.

 

The conference is one of the events marking the 75th anniversary of Poster and Visual Communication studies at the National Academy of Art and includes an overview of their development from laying the foundations to present day.

 

The scientific conference was held on 22 and 23 May (Monday and Tuesday) 2023, from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm in Academia Gallery, 1 Shipka Street.
