Karol Lewalski (b. 1986) is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor along with Prof. Waldemar Marszałek in the Atelier for Graphic Art Basics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. The artist works in the field of art graphics, particularly linocut. He is the winner of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland Award for outstanding artistic achievements. Lewalski has participated in numerous exhibitions, and is the award winner in national and international competitions, among which are the Biennale of Student Graphics in Poznan, Pomorze Graphics 2012 and 2013, Image Poster Competition of the Polish Institute in Vienna, Best Diplomas 2013
