Prof. Dr. Ivan Gazdov was awarded the honorary title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the National Academy of Art

On 22 February 2023, at an official ceremony held in Academia Gallery, Prof. Dr. Ivan Gazdov was awarded the honorary title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the National Academy of Art in the presence of the Academic Council of the National Academy of Art, teachers, students, colleagues and many friends of the beloved master of graphic design.

 

Ivan Gazdov was introduced by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Svetozar Benchev. The Rector of the National Academy of Art, Prof. Georgi Yankov, performed the ceremony of awarding the Doctor Honoris Causa Diploma and Necklace of the National Academy of Art. Then Prof. Dr. Ivan Gazdov delivered an impressive speech to the audience.
