Summer Academy for Children and School Students in BURGAS

The National Academy of Art invites the children of Burgas to participate in the fourth edition, named "Colourful Summer 2022", of the Summer Academy for Children and School Students 2022. The project "Summer Academy for Children and School Students" at the National Academy of Art is an approved cultural and educational project, which began in 2010 in Sofia, and for several years has been successfully held in Burgas.
The Summer Academy in Burgas will offer the participants and guests of the seaside town unforgettable encounters with the fine arts. The Academy will be held from 27th June to 22nd July 2022. The children will create under the guidance of students and teachers from the National Academy of Art – Burgas Branch and with the participation of prominent artists.
Children and young people from 6 to 18 years of age can take part in the creative activities during the Summer Academy. Every weekday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, the youngest academics will embark on a colourful adventure offering a rich palette of different types of creative activities: on the beach, in the ateliers and in the graphic base of National Academy of Art – Burgas Branch, in the Sea Garden of Burgas, in the premises of the Cultural Center Sea Casino, in the library and museums round the city. The curriculum includes: academic drawing, painting, graphics, sculpture, poster, illustration – authorship book and authorship comic стрип, mosaic, ceramics, icons, design, puppet workshop, plein air – seascape, sand sculptures and many more. There will be many surprises for the children and young people.
Traditionally, at the end of the creative summer academy, the young artists will organise their exhibition in the gallery "Atelier" of the National Academy of Art – Burgas Branch, which will include their best works. All children will receive certificates for participation.
