The National Academy of Art is No 1 in Fine Arts in Bulgarian University Rankings

Once again, the National Academy of Art ranked first in the professional field of Fine Arts as per the Bulgarian University Ranking System. For 12 years now, the Academy has topped the rankings in its professional field. The Rector, Prof. Georgi Iankov, received the prestigious award from the Mayor of Sofia, Vassil Terziev.
We create another added value, art gives face to countries before Europe and the world, said Prof. Georgi Iankov. What we talked about a year ago is that the Academy should redesign these awards and have them written correctly in Cyrillic. Bulgaria is the only country where people write in Cyrillic*, our letters are more beautiful and aesthetic. This will give a different look to Bulgaria, he said as well.

The Academy has been carrying out a long-standing policy for the preservation and development of the Cyrillic script in its Bulgarian font styles.
The ranking system is created by order of the Ministry of Education and Science, whereas the award ceremony is organised by the 24 Chasa (24 Hours) Newspaper.
