The National Academy of Art participated in the career forum "CODE: Career. Education. Profession. Future"

On 25th and 26th April 2026, the National Academy of Art participated with own expo stand in the career forum "CODE: Career. Education. Profession. Future". The event, organised by the Directorate "Sports and Youth Activities" of Sofia City Municipality, was held in thematic tents located in the park of the National Palace of Culture, within the framework of Sofia Spring Fest. The programme of the forum included career consultations, "express" internship interviews, as well as open conversations with established experts, with the moderators of the discussions being film producer Borislav Chuchkov and the presenter Irena Mateeva.
The Academy was presented by Assoc. Prof. Rozina Makaveeva, PhD, Ch. Asst. Prof. Boris Dalchev, PhD, and Ch. Asst. Prof. Nevena Georgieva, PhD, from the Department of Scenography, as well as Asst. Prof. Yordan Velkov, Department of Painting, and Asst. Prof. Svetli Evgeniev, PhD, from the Department of Ceramics and Porcelain and Glass Design. They met with prospective students and young people and provided important information about the upcoming student application campaign, the opportunities for mobility under the Erasmus+ programme, professional development and realisation offered by the National Academy of Art.
At the expo stand of the National Academy of Art, visitors had the opportunity to view catalogue publications from the Museum Collection and exhibition projects of the Academy, departmental publications and information brochures. The Vice-Rector of the National Academy of Art, Prof. Zdravka Vassileva, PhD, presented the Academy within the framework of the organised discussion panel and shared her experience on the path to success.
