The National Academy of Art presented the Memnum and Bozhen fonts designed under the Shared Fonts project and made available for free distribution

On 8 January 2026, the authorship fonts Memnum and Bozhen, designed by Prof. Christina Borissova, PhD, and Assoc. Prof. Svetlin Balezdrov, PhD, were presented at the Academia Gallery. The two type designers provide the fonts for free distribution.
The event was attended by the Director General of the Bulgarian News Agency, Mr Kiril Valchev, the Rector of the National Academy of Art, Prof. Georgi Yankov, members of the Academy's management body, lecturers, students and guests.
The fonts are the result from the Shared Fonts project, which aims to provide access to quality font developments, typographic resources and ideas for a wide range of users–students, designers, researchers and all those interested in contemporary typography and related creative practices.
