2024.03.20

The challenge of training creative, independent and innovative artists is not something new to the National Academy of Art. Proof of that are the two exhibitions at Nova Gallery and May Gallery in the town of Sliven, where our students and graduates from several departments – Textile – Art and Design, Metal, Woodcarving, Porcelain and Glass Design, and Ceramics – were presented.

The exhibitions were opened by Prof. Kazimierz Pawlak, guest from the Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw, Poland, and Assoc. Prof. Elizar Milev, PhD, the Head of the academic Centre for Preservation and Development of Bulgarian Traditional Applied Arts at the Nationmal Academy of Art.

Curator: Ch. Asst. Prof. Ventsislav Shishkov, PhD

On 20 March 2024, the doctoral student Todor Goranov from the Sub-Department of Porcelain and Glass Design will conduct workshops with students from Dimitar Dobrovich National High School of Arts in  Sliven.
