Porcelain and Glass Design BA
The BA academic degree prepares artists in the design of porcelain and glass. The integrated training includes:
– Acquiring the knowledge and skills common to all disciplines of the NAA, allowing adequate participation in the modern artistic process.
– Acquiring knowledge and skills for solving the most complex tasks of artistic design and implementation in industrial production.
Students are trained in search of new art and design solutions with respect to materials and expansion of technological and aesthetic capabilities.
The speciality is the only centre in the country to prepare highly qualified artists in design studios and production companies for porcelain, fine ceramics and glass. Graduates are prepared to express themselves in individual artistic practices. Those of them who have completed “Theory and practice of art education” obtain professional qualification “Teacher of Fine Art from first to twelfth grade in general education and vocational schools”.
